D’Arrigo New York offers five core key services to our customers that range from Delivered Sales to Marketing and Merchandising Support.
Delivered Sales
D’Arrigo New York carries over 50 trucks in our fleet with deliveries available 7 days a week. We offer two primary services:
- Delivery to customer warehouse
- Drop shipments directly to store or restaurant location
Cold Chain Management
Cold Chain must be maintained from harvest to delivery in order to maintain the integrity and quality of the product. At D’Arrigo New York, product is removed from the truck and immediately taken to its designated space to maintain the cold chain. Our facilities have over 112,000 sq ft of refrigerated space at Hunts Point and 30,000 sq ft at our Drake Street location.
Cross Dock Consolidation
D’Arrigo New York customers have the ability to cross dock products from other suppliers at our facility to consolidate the loading process prior to delivery.
Banana Ripening
D’Arrigo New York has 15 banana ripening rooms that ripen three loads of bananas per day. There are seven colors on the banana color spectrum, and we typically sell in the 3-5 color range. We also carry plantains and organic bananas.
Brands: Dole, Chiquita, Fyffes and Del Monte
Sourcing: Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua
Marketing and Merchandising Support
If you are a grower, D’Arrigo New York can help serve as your marketing liaison at the retail level. We can work with you to develop the following POS materials:

- In-store merchandising support for retail customers
